Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1⁄2 onion (diced)

  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)

  • 2 carrots (grated)

  • 3 cabbage (thinly sliced)

  • 1⁄4 cup soy sauce

  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

  • 4 protein tortilla wraps

  • green onion (thinly sliced (optional))

  • sesame seeds (optional)

  • 4 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce

Steps

  • In a large pan over medium heat, cook ground turkey, until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add in onions and carrots and cook until onions become translucent, about 4 minutes.
  • Add in garlic and cook until fragrant, 30 seconds or so.
  • Then add in ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce and cabbage. Cook until cabbage becomes tender. Remove from heat, taste for seasoning and set aside in a bowl.
  • Wipe out your pan and return it to medium low heat.
  • In a protein tortilla, add 1/4 of your egg roll filling and roll. Place in pan (use a spritz of oil if not using a non stick pan) and brown all sides.
  • Remove and serve with 1 tbsp sweet chilli dipping sauce. Enjoy!
