Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread, highest protein possible, I use Stonemill

  • 2 tbsp pizza sauce

  • 1/4 cup shredded light mozzarella cheese

  • 8 slices turkey pepperoni

  • 1 tsp butter

Steps

  • Heat a small pan over medium heat and cook turkey pepperoni until crispy. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Assemble sandwich by spreading pizza sauce on top of the each slice of bread, followed by placing half of the cheese on one slice, then the turkey pepperoni, then the other half of your cheese. Top with the other piece of bread, pizza sauce down.
  • Reheat your small pan over medium heat and melt your butter. Add in your sandwich, cook for 2-3 minutes and flip. Continue cooking until the cheese melts.
  • Remove, cut in half and enjoy!
