Ingredients
1 lb 1 ground chicken
1 tsp 1 olive oil
1 pack 1 fresh gnocchi, room temp
3 cups 3 marinara sauce
1 cup 1 light mozzarella cheese
2 cloves 2 garlic
Salt to taste
Basil, chopped for serving (optional)
Steps
- Heat a large oven safe skillet over medium heat. Cook garlic until fragrant, 30 seconds and add and cook ground chicken, seasoning with salt to taste. Once cooked through, transfer into a bowl.
- In the same skillet, add in olive oil. Once hot, add gnocchi and cook, stirring, until gnocchi is golden and crispy, about 8 minutes.
- Add in marinara, scraping up any brown bits. Stir in half of your mozzarella cheese until melted into the sauce. Add cooked ground chicken back into the skillet and remove from heat.
- Heat broiler in oven. Top skillet with the remaining mozzarella cheese and place in oven until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Remove and top with fresh chopped basil (optional). Serve and enjoy!
