This protein french toast packs 24g of protein and take only 10 minutes to make. If you love french toast and want to eat high protein, give this a try!

  • 4 highest protein bread you can find

  • 1 egg

  • 1⁄4 cup egg whites

  • 1⁄4 cup milk

  • 25 grams vanilla protein powder

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Swerve confectioners’ sugar (optional)

  • Fresh berries (optional)

  • Maple syrup (optional)


  • In a shaker cup, combine protein powder and milk. Shake until no longer clumpy.
  • In a bowl, combine the egg, egg whites, milk with vanilla protein powder, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet to medium-high heat.
  • Pour the egg mixture onto a plate or square baking dish.
  • Soak 2 slices of bread in the egg mixture for 10-15 seconds, then flip andrepeat.
  • Immediately place the soaked bread in the hot pan, cooking for 3-4 minutes perside until golden brown and the egg is cooked through.
  • Remove from the pan and serve with fresh berries, zero-calorie confectioners’ sugar, and maple syrup if desired (not included in macros).
