Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breast

  • 1 egg (beaten)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1⁄4 cup panko bread crumbs

  • 1⁄4 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 tablespoons Frank’s Red Hot

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne (optional)

  • 2 whole wheat bun

Steps

  • Pound chicken into 1” pieces.
  • In a shallow bowl, combine egg and Frank’s Red Hot, beat well.
  • In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs and seasonings.
  • Dredge chicken in the egg mixture, then in breadcrumbs. Repeat till all are coated.
  • Lightly spray with oil and place in a 400°F air fryer for 4-5 minutes per side and cook till the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Serve on a bun with chipotle aioli, lettuce, and tomato.
